A YEAR ON OUR TREE FARM

End of April-Planting Seedlings

These Blue Spruce and Douglas Fir seedlings lived
for three years in a nursery before we planted them.
They will be ready to cut in 8 to 10 years.

June through August-mow, mow mow.

Mowing keeps our trees healthy and beautiful by reducing the
competition for nutrition and light, and allowing more air circulation.

Tree Trimming

Ben, Jen & Jim spend the summer shaping each tree to look its best for Christmas.

Jim is trimming the bottom branches from a young tree so it will fit easily in your tree stand some day.

November is Wreath Making Time.
